Are you lucky enough to be blessed with a wonderful son or daughter and now are searching throughout the WWW for a very special Christmas present or two?  Looking for excellent child special needs gifts can be a bit daunting, but it certainly doesn’t have to be, because we found some that would be appreciated by any child.

A fantastic way to exercise and one that entertains while the child is having fun, is called Jump Smart Kid Safe Trampoline with Music and Games.  It’s bright and beautiful and makes SFX sounds, with recognition and memory.  The jumping mat is a hefty 27″ x 29″ so it’s a nice size.  This piece of equipment/toy is also bi-lingual (English/French)!  It features counting, rhythm and music.  This will surely fit the bill for at least one of your child special needs gifts, that’s for sure.

Another superior toy is called The Wikki Stix Book of Wiggles, Squiggles & Curlicues.  That’s a fancy name for a book full of fun!  It’s made from non-toxic wax and yarn and is extremely colorful.  There is no prep or cleanup needed and it has no glue as well as no mess!  That’s a bonus to any busy mum or dad.  Ages three and up will enjoy this child special needs toy.  It’s made in the U.S. and is a creative and reusable toy for home or school.

A great way for kids to play is with this set of figures called Special Needs Children Set of 5.  It features role models that children will love to use in little stories and skits.  The people in it are made from wood, which has been silk-screened.  One of the figures is 4.5 inches tall, so children of all ages can handle them easily.  This is a positive toy which promotes awareness and role models during play.

Two more child special needs playthings are Early Learning and Special Needs Activities Box and U-Play Mat, At-Home Speech and Language Development System for Toddlers & Preschoolers: Deluxe Set.  The box has 4 lesson plans and was created by an art teacher.  It has a variety of craft items, construction paper and was sticks.  The language system was developed by a pediatrician, two sets of twins, and a speech therapist.  It’s a  home-based speech and language developmental and educational toy.

The language system is ideal for grandparents or parents or siblings to help a special needs child develop his or her language skills.  Communication is key in our world today, and as humans the more we can communicate with each other, then better of we’ll all be!  Giving the gift of communication is especially nice at holiday time, because this is when families get together and reconnect and have fun.  And eat a lot, of course!  Any child special needs toy that helps your little one have fun and talk to his or her grandma at Christmas, is a toy that’s worth it’s weight in gold!  It just won’t cost that much!
